    I started in this business in 1974 as a helper working beside my father on weekends and summers. I learned my father’s philosophy of always being honest with your customer. This is also where I learned the basics of refrigeration helping my dad from building commercial refrigeration systems to repairing household appliances.

    In 1979 my dad handed me a tool bag and a list of calls and I was off and running. I worked for Emanon Sales and Service in Queens, NY for 23 years in total. While here I received my universal EPA certification, electrical certification from the Carrier Corporation and multiple certifications offered by manufacturers at that time.

    In 1997, due to extenuating circumstances I went on my own forming BNA Appliance Service, this is when I entered the world of high end appliance repair, servicing Miele, Wolf, Lynx, Regency and Creda throughout the 5 boroughs of NYC and I fell in love with the challenges that are associated with working on these products.

    In 2000 it was time to leave NYC and move north to NH, the manufacturers I worked for at that time were excited that I was moving north due to the voids in service throughout northern New England.

    In 2004 the then Delia Corporation (Viking Distributer for New England and New York) offered me a job as their first northern regional service technician, covering New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts and upstate New York. This is where I learned that no matter how much you think you know about a business there is always more. Servicing just Viking Appliances for those 9+ years was an experience, it’s a great product, one that’s constantly evolving with the industry. Regretfully, Delia is gone as are the wonderful people that became family and taught so much about the business I wasn’t even aware of. I will always be thankful to them for the opportunity they gave me.

    In 2013, I started First Class Appliance Repair due to upcoming changes in the industry and other passions of mine. I wanted to only service high end appliances. We are factory authorized and trained to service Viking, SubZero/Wolf/Asko, Miele, Fhiaba, Marvel and Aga. I want to bring a better service experience, a high end service experience, to my customers. To date I believe we are delivering that. I am a certified gas fitter in NH and fully insured to help my customer’s with any and all of their appliance needs.
